Why Gold Coast suits custom abstract art
Gold Coast's skyline of beachfront towers and resort developments has made it one of the country's busiest markets for large-scale interior commissions, and curators and designers here increasingly want work that matches the ambition of the buildings themselves.
Custom abstract art painted to a curator's or designer's brief removes the compromise of sourcing existing stock that happens to be available. The palette, scale and mood are agreed with the artist directly, before the work exists, so the finished piece is built for the specific wall in the specific Gold Coast project rather than fitted into it after the fact.
The brief and palette process
A Gold Coast commission starts the same way as any other -- wall dimensions, palette references drawn from the actual materials and lighting of the space, and your installation timeline. A palette and style proposal is developed and signed off before any canvas is started, so there is full clarity on direction ahead of production.
Pricing and delivery for Gold Coast
Pricing starts from $3,500 AUD for a 100cm x 100cm original, professionally framed in a Tasmanian Oak frame. Delivery into Gold Coast -- or anywhere else in the country -- is included at no additional cost, so there is no separate freight line to factor into a client quote.
Who this suits
Art curators and interior designers working on coastal high-rise apartments, resort hospitality and display suites across Gold Coast all brief the same way -- palette, scale, mood and deadline.
