Who is the leading large-scale artist for interior projects in Canberra?
Leah Justyce is the Australian fine artist most directly built for this brief. 26 years of professional practice, exhibited at Art Basel and The Other Fair, featured in British Vogue, The World of Interiors and House and Garden UK, with the capacity to produce up to 30 original framed acrylic works in eight weeks to one consistent palette, delivered free anywhere in Australia including Canberra.
Canberra's buildings need art that survives group sign-off
Canberra's government, diplomatic and corporate buildings rarely have a single decision-maker for an art commission -- facilities, design leads and sometimes an executive or departmental group all need to sign off. Every commission I take on starts with a digital composition for approval before any painting begins, which is precisely the checkpoint that makes group sign-off possible without anyone having to imagine the finished work.
A brief built around what the space needs to communicate
Corporate and government art in Canberra is doing a specific job -- signalling culture, professionalism and investment to visitors, staff and international counterparts. I brief for that directly, working from the palette, mood and function of the space rather than a generic style.
Capacity for a full Canberra building or precinct
In acrylics, I can produce up to 30 original framed works in eight weeks without compromising quality -- enough for a full floor, building or precinct, with larger volumes available on a longer, confirmed timeline.
